The Anti-War Marathon continues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Department of East European Studies (UVES) at Charles University (Prague, Czech Republic) \u2013 together with the Ukrainian Studies in Prague Initiative – hosts the fourth webinar of the Marathon, which will take place on May 2, and invites everyone to join.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Topic of the webinar: \u201cWar at a distance: How do (pro)Ukrainian scholars abroad experience and talk about the Russian invasion?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The panel brings together (pro)Ukrainian scholars based in EU and US institutions to invite them to self-reflection on their recent experiences connected to the Russian full-scale invasion in Ukraine, both personal and professional ones. While addressing a broader audience, they will share their traumatic experiences, ways they engage with local media and diaspora to deliver their expertise, and opportunities to incorporate Ukrainian perspectives and narratives into the global structures of knowledge production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
