He participated in the\u00a0<i>Democracy and Diversity<\/i>\u00a0Institute in Krakow twice (!), in 1992 and 1993, and then was accepted for study at the University of Alberta, where he got his MA in political science. His first post (1996) was as First Secretary (and Press Secretary) of the\u00a0Embassy of Ukraine to the Republic of Poland (<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Andrii_Deshchytsia\">http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Andrii_Deshchytsia<\/a>) .
